Certified copies of most Missouri birth and death records are also available from the local county health department.
If a birth or death event occurred in St. Louis (city), St. Louis County, or Kansas City before 1910, write to the city or county Health Department.
Certified copies of marriage licenses are available from the offices of Recorder of Deeds in the county where the license was obtained. Certified copies of divorce decrees are available from the Circuit Clerk in the county where the decree was granted.
